Code of Ethics
Here at Brave Northwest Insurance, we serve a diverse client base. We serve clients based on their insurance coverage needs and offer excellent customer service to anyone who comes to us requesting insurance services. If we cannot provide the services they need, we will offer a referral to other insurance companies that may be able to assist.
We believe all clients have autonomy to choose the insurance company that matches their policy requests. Therefore, we provide the information needed to educate the client on the best policy that will meet their coverage requirements, but ultimately the client has the free will to select the company and policy they decide is best. We will not engage in manipulative tactics through advertising or via our employee-to-client interactions, nor will we misrepresent or withhold material facts to close a sale. At Brave Northwest Insurance, we uphold the values of fair competition, which means we understand that there are many companies offering the same services we do, and we will not coerce anyone to choose our company over others.
We follow all local, state, and federal laws regarding inappropriate compensation, as we do not offer bribes, gifts, kickbacks, or rebates to avoid conflicts of interest. Employees of Brave Northwest Insurance are prohibited from using client premium payments for personal use. We never use any information for personal gain or to benefit anyone outside the company.
We keep accurate records of clients’ payments and policies by maintaining records in compliance with local, state, and federal law, never falsifying or altering them, ensuring that records are complete and contain all material information for each account and transaction. We will notify customers in the event of a breach. And, to keep electronic data safe, we use industry-standard encryption and security protocols.
All client information is held confidential and is not shared or sold to people or businesses. We take the safeguarding of client information very seriously. We limit the spread of information by making disclosures only when necessary and only to individuals who need to know, such as people within the company providing the client’s insurance policy. We discuss confidential information only in private and never on social media. Additionally, we use secure servers to store information.
